I purchased Magnavox dp170mw8b DVD player for my stay of several weeks. I noticed a rattling noise on the remote before you can install the batteries. Although the remote does not work. I contacted Magnavox and noted that they the best customer service I have encountered in a long time. Everyone was helpful and quick to correct my concerns. In one week, I had my new remote (free) and was able to watch movies to see. The DVD player itself works great and is much stronger than a cable with RCA inputs or HDMI input (not included, but on Amazon for less than five years upconversion dollars) e.
